Narrated in Sahih Muslim, Syarh an-Nawawi, 1 hadith from Anas ibn Malik r.a he said, "Verily Prophet pbuh in the time of asking for rain, he made the back side of his hand facing towards sky" - turning hand up-side down while praying for removal of disaster is the practice of Prophet pbuh
Imam an-Nawawi said: "We had explained that those who have obstacles like slaves, women, travellers and others, thus compulsory for them is to perform Zuhr. But, if they prform Jumaat prayer, it is still accepted. If they leave Zuhr for Jumaat prayer, so it's enough for them according to Ijmak"
